ABOUT

ABOUT CORMOS

Our Cormos are registered with the American Cormo Sheep Association. Cormo sheep produce exquisite fine wool that is sought after by spinners, knitters, welters, and other fiber artists.

Cormos are a mid-sized sheep that are easy to manage, suited to a wide variety of climates, and an excellent choice for small farms as well as range conditions. We have found them to be the most gentle and people-loving sheep.

ABOUT US

Jim and Debbie Barnard have been married 50 years. Debbie has an extensive embroidery enterprise and is into the dynamics of wool felting and weaving. From when Jim was 12 years old until he entered college, he raised Corriedale sheep. This is where he found his love for sheep raising. Now retired, they are pursuing the peaceful life of sheep raising. After intensive research, they fell in love with the certified Cormo sheep breed.
